03/11/2006 - Scrim gone, No Quarter up

The scrim server is gone, at least temporarily. Almost nobody was using it, so it was not more much than a waste of money.

So I turned it into a No Quarter server, currently 10 slots public, but should it get popular we could add a few slots or move a few slots from the clan server to the new one.

The No Quarter mod is probably the hottest mod currently available, it comes with some really cool features:

• New admin commands, such as !glow, !poison, !revive, !pants, !disguise...
• New weapons, such as Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR), Bazooka, Mobile Browning .30cal, Winchester Model 1897 Shotgun and more.

The NQ mod was originally designed for ET version 2.60. It runs perfectly on ET 2.55, but the server displays a message about "Wrong ET version" every 30 seconds. Unfortunately there is no way to disable that message, simply ignore it.

The NQ mod requires to install a few PK3 files on the client machine (4 files, about 25 megs in total). Enable HTTP downloads in your game options screen and these files will be downloaded automatically upon your first connection. I will also add links to the downloads page to download them manually.
