--> ET master server down <--
It appears that the Enemy Territory master server etmaster.idsoftware.com is down again. As a result, the in-game server browser won't work.

The Enemy Territory master server etmaster.idsoftware.com
is the main Enemy Territory master server.
Every game server on the planet send info on game status, players, etc., to one or more master servers. The master servers use that data to build server lists, and send those lists to all clients who request them.
The ID's master server is the most important of those servers, cause it is queried by the game clients to get the game servers list to be displayed in the server browser screen.
So, when the ID's master server is down, the server browser won't work and will always show zero servers.
Players can still connect to game servers by manually typing the IP address of the game server, but if you don't know the IP address of the game server you wanna connect to, then you're stuck.
This is not the first time the master server goes down, hopefully it will be fixed soon.
